About the role
The Program Manager serves under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, managing individual, staff, and facility operations within the Tri-County area (Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties).
Responsibilities
- Supervision: Review schedules, approve time cards, fill in for PC, interview, hire, evaluate, and terminate staff.
- Financial Management: Review and develop budgets, monitor accounts, review financial records, and communicate with finance.
- Documentation: Track PCP documentation, initiate funding plans, review EHR, complete AIRS reports, and conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews.
- Health and Wellness: Review medical paperwork, complete corrective actions, and monitor activity schedules.
- Professionalism: Model initiative, advocate, communicate, build relationships, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred; 2 years of experience with persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Experience: Ability to communicate with and support individuals with behavioral challenges; personable, energetic, and strong communication skills.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer-based software, willingness to work anywhere within the Tri-County area, strong English language skills, ability to respond to emergencies, valid driver’s license, and passing a criminal background check.
Qualifications
- Knowledge: Familiarity with funding streams from DDA.
- Leadership: Supervisory and leadership skills.
- Other: Ability to pass criminal background check, drug-free workplace policy, and equal opportunity employer.
