Program Manager

About the role

The Engines Business Unit of Moog's Space Division in Niagara Falls, New York is seeking a Program Manager. This role involves coordinating various program elements across different teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans and schedules to ensure coordination between all program elements.
• Maintain oversight of cost, schedule, and task completion to ensure compliance with program plans.
• Coordinate with functional management to assign necessary program resources.
• Communicate with customers to address outstanding issues promptly.
• Manage and coordinate all program activities to meet contract requirements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and customer meetings and reviews.
• Prepare regular status reports for management and the customer.
• Support proposal preparation and change order processes.
• Assist in fact-finding and negotiations to ensure completeness from a program management perspective.
• Up to 20% travel required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, preferably Engineering.
• At least 5 years of specific program management or related experience in manufacturing of highly engineered products, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with strong emotional intelligence.
• Ability to present program information effectively to both customers and internal management.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project management tools like Earned Value Management.
• Demonstrated understanding of contractual requirements and scope adherence.
• Ability to pass a full physical examination, including 814 profiles, audiometry, visual, and physical examinations.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Pay

Niagara Falls, NY: $100,000.00–$135,000.00 Annually
