Program Manager

About the role

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Program Manager with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Aberdeen, MD. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 50 - 100+ IT professionals providing support to approximately 3,300 users across multiple locations
• Develop and implement strategic IT program plans that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives
• Manage program budgets, resources, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery of services
• Cookordination with government stakeholders to identify requirements, establish priorities, and adjust workforce allocation as needed
• Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring compliance with DOW standards, policies, and security requirements
• Lead regular program reviews and status meetings with government counterparts
• Manage fluctuating workloads and priorities by effectively increasing, decreasing, or relocating resources as required
• Ensure proper documentation of all program activities, decisions, and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate program risks while developing and implementing risk management strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with all contract terms, conditions, and performance requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related IT field with 11+ years of experience, OR Master's degree in a directly related IT field with 9+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading teams of 50 – 100+ employees for enterprise-scale IT programs of a complex nature and financial scope
• Demonstrated information technology/engineering and management experience on contracts or projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope
• Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, IT specialists/engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel.
• Experience working in DOW Computing Environments
• Security+ certification (or equivalent DOW Directive 8570.1 IAT II)
• At least one certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, etc.)
