Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure predictable and consistent program delivery, actively managing to achieve program goals and success criteria.
- Provide a comprehensive view of the program’s status, objectives, and progress to stakeholders and organizational leadership.
- Engage proactively in program planning, including defining program scope, developing and maintaining a consolidated timeline, and identifying key milestones.
- Identify, document, and manage program dependencies and impacts, while implementing controls for ongoing program management (e.g., Program Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issue Management, Change Control).
- Define and implement program governance, clearly outlining roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation pathways.
- Align all stakeholders on program objectives, keeping them engaged, informed, and updated on program progress and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide transparency, ensure alignment, and provide venues for timely decision-making.
- Support alignment with organizational objectives (e.g., One Fiserv Objectives) and facilitate collaborative efforts across business areas.
- Leverage an understanding of organizational culture, networks, and formal channels to drive effective program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in program management for large-scale infrastructure projects, with a track record of successful program delivery.
- Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), with experience in creating and managing project schedules, risk assessments, and change control processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive alignment and deliver program objectives.
- Ability to provide stakeholders with clear, transparent updates on program progress, risks, and issues.
- Solid understanding of organizational structure, culture, and networking within a large organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in program management, specifically in IT infrastructure or related areas.
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
