About the role

The Program Manager at INDUS is responsible for leading all aspects of task order delivery, customer engagement, subcontractor management, and employee relations activities. They also support capture and sales activities, including identifying and qualifying key pursuit opportunities, developing capture strategies, gathering and documenting competitor intelligence, evaluating and completing capabilities matrices, determining and vetting Teaming Agreements, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day programmatic and contract deliverables to deliver the means, methods, and resources in support of key PWS areas.
  • Responsible for the staffing, management, quality, and performance of the contract.
  • Manage and oversee all contractor personnel and subcontractors performing work under the contract.
  • Recruit, employ, train, guide, and supervise qualified contractor personnel to successfully accomplish contract requirements.
  • Develop major concepts, initiatives, processes, procedures, PM tools, and programs.
  • Affirm and implement opportunities to add value and improve processes for customers, INDUS Technology, and its employees.
  • Align team to program/customer vision and expectations.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with customers, team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the Primary Point of Contact (POC) responsible for overall contractor performance and act as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
  • Designate alternate Point(s) of Contact (POCs) authorized to act on behalf of the Primary POC during periods of absence and address all contract-related matters.
  • Provide guidance and direction to an execution team for specific projects or sub-tasks.
  • Direct the completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
  • Capture project-specific engagements and review work products for completeness and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Gather data, conduct analyses, and develop reports on a recurring basis to communicate program/project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Interface with the client and stakeholders on project specific issues and objectives.
  • Deliver presentations and leads client meetings.
  • Partner with internal departments as needed to manage customer requirements, coordinate deliverables across subcontractor partners and vendors, and ensure employees have what they need to be successful.
  • Ensure contractor employees perform work in the best interest of the Government and comply with applicable laws, regulations, DoD requirements, and local activity policies.
  • Prevent contractor personnel from establishing actual or perceived personal service relationships with Government employees.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure contract requirements and performance standards are consistently achieved.
  • Serve as an INDUS ambassador and exhibit our corporate core values through your engagement with customers, employees, and industry partners and vendors.
  • Uphold professional and ethical behavior of all personnel.

Requirements

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a technical or managerial related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience in Technical Program/Project Management with projects of similar complexity to the current effort as well as demonstrated abilities in managing a diverse mix of technical requirements.
  • Expert skills in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and cost control supporting DoD projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams toward a common goal.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employees and working to create a successful and collaborative team dynamic.
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • A Master's degree from an accredited university in a Technical or Managerial related field is desired.
  • Experience in Program/Project Management experience across dispersed geographic areas is desired.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
  • Prior experience supporting or leading capture and proposal efforts supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) is desired.
