About the role
This role is hybrid in Boston. You must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and able to go on site.
The focus of this role is two large projects: Device & Asset Lifecycle Management and UPS Battery Replacement & Power Continuity.
Responsibilities
The Device & Asset Lifecycle Management project involves standardizing device fleets, improving inventory/asset visibility, and planning replacement and maintenance budgets across a large, distributed organization.
The UPS Battery Replacement & Power Continuity project requires knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and multi-year battery replacement planning across a large building portfolio to prevent unexpected outages.
Requirements
- Vendor & Contractor Management: sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing vendors/integrators across device, network, AV, and power projects
- Network Infrastructure: working knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless, and structured cabling (fiber, copper, coax) to guide upgrade and capacity planning
- AV Systems & Facilities Upgrades: familiarity with conferencing, classroom, and presentation technologies, coordinated with facilities on space and installation planning
- Multi-Site Program & Budget Planning: sequencing and financing phased rollouts across many buildings/rooms with minimal disruption
- Risk & Business Continuity Planning: prioritizing by criticality to reduce security exposure and prevent unexpected outages
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinating IT, network engineers, AV technicians, facilities, and end users toward shared outcomes
