Program Manager Job Summary
The Program Manager will oversee and support the operational performance of the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine programs for the assigned division, focusing on revenue flow, clinician credentialing/enrollment, HR, and payroll for clinicians in the programs.
What You Will Do
- Oversees and supports the clinician onboarding process, credentialing and enrollment process; ensures completion is done in a timely manner.
- Oversees and supports effective communication with clinicians and Medical Staff Office personnel on a regular basis about progress and status staff privileges for individual programs.
- Manages the development of documentation methods utilized in the onboarding process.
- Captures and processes information about proposed clinician change(s) from management, regional directors and facility medical directors.
- Coordinates with Health Care Indemnity, Inc., to ensure coverage of professional and general liability for clinicians.
- Manages the payroll process for clinicians ensuring all time is properly reported and schedule changes are accurately documented and completed in a timely fashion.
- Coordinates with all Service Center departments on a regular basis to resolve outstanding items from each of the following areas: Clinician Enrollment, Human Resources, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Billing Collection Team, including chart deficiency escalations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health or Business Administration or related field highly preferred.
- Two or more years of healthcare experience.
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: physician practice management, support service operations; project management experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
