Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for overall management and compliance of the program and for overseeing the coordination and implementation of all activities and deliverables.
About the Role
Oversees the execution of all program activities in line with the work plan and deadlines. Ensures program compliance with the funding agency. Aids in promoting and marketing the program and its services; oversees the creation of all promotional/marketing materials. Fosters professional relationships and communicates regularly with stakeholders to strengthen program collaborations and partnerships. Manages all data, reports and documents in an organized manner.
Essential Functions
- Create and maintain program budgets and ensure transactions are handled in a timely manner and consistent with GPTLHB policies.
- Manage staff time, attendance, work productivity and performance reviews.
- Write and ensure submission of a wide range of reports including, but not limited to, progress reports, annual reports and internal reports.
- Identify funding opportunities for the continuation of existing projects as well as new projects and assist with grant writing.
Requirements
- Participate in Core Connection training and apply GPTLHB Core Connections concepts and practices in their work.
- Knowledge of the grant writing.
- Knowledge of various funding agencies.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
- Knowledge of the structure, functions and operations of GPTLHB departments.
- Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations applicable to area of responsibility.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to research, synthesize large amounts of information (technical, legal, financial, and anecdotal) and communicate clearly the key information.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience, or associate’s degree and three (3) years’ experience.
- Documented grant management, supervisory and administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to speak in front of large and small groups.
- Computer and technical skills (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
