Program Manager

About the role

As a Program Manager at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This is a challenging, rewarding, and exciting management position that makes a positive impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements occupational, recreational, social, and other developmental plans for each individual in their care.
• Ensures the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
• Oversees the hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy, and training compliance of all staff within the assigned program(s).
• Schedules and transports individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
• Supervises the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
• Participates in group outings for our individuals.
• Manages the shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
• Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• A valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.

Qualifications

Pay

$58,000 - $68,000

Based in Eatontown, NJ and overseeing our group home.
