Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation of detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Cook up resources, teams, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Provide status updates on project progress and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support in managing project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently, and tracking project expenditures to ensure costs remain within budget.
- Identify potential project risks and issues and work with senior management to implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain project documentation including meeting notes, reports, and project deliverables to ensure consistency and clarity across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting them in various aspects of project execution to achieve project goals.
- Ensure that the project meets all the defined quality standards and client specifications.
- Participate in project post-mortems and suggest process improvements to enhance future project execution.
- Embody the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is a plus, though not required.
- 0-2 years experience in project management or team coordination.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and under deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
- Basic understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, etc.), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and E-Mail.
