Job Purpose
As a Program Manager, you will collaborate with others to manage customer programs relating to product introductions and ongoing service. You will also be responsible for ensuring reliable communication and interaction between internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and serve as a liaison for operations related to assigned program to ensure that policies and procedures are followed, goals and quality are being met, and service and project goals are being accomplished effectively.
- Manage and make decisions for all aspects of program or account, within guidelines.
- Initiate corrective actions as necessary as they relate to the program or account.
- Develop systems to provide for proper evaluation, control, and documentation of assigned activities.
- Aid in the development and monitor the programs or account's budget and results.
- Aid with contract review and meeting the requirements.
- Analyze strategies for cost effectiveness.
- Contribute to the sales forecasting function.
- Ensure adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources.
- Absorb responsibility for coordinating product testing and product certification.
- Depending on division, attend trade shows and provide support to remote staff.
- Prepare various documents and reports as needed.
- Demonstrate support for the company culture in their daily actions.
- Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PREFERRED: Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience.
- PREFERRED: Experience with program management and/or formal project management training (PMP or similar qualifications).
- PREFERRED: Experience with ERP systems and Change Management (ECOs).
- PREFERRED: Experience with hardware & software development as it relates to electronics (ECUs), introduction of new hardware into manufacturing.
- Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or other program management tools.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian Tools, JIRA Scrum Methodologies, Polarion.
- Exceptional oral and written communications.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
Pay
The annual salary for this role is $105,750 - $141,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.).
