Program Manager

About the role

Bancroft is seeking a Program Manager for our Adult Residential Program in Swedesboro, NJ. This role empowers individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental challenges to reach their full potential while supporting our mission, vision, and core values.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee direct reports within assigned program sites
• Provide ongoing leadership, training, and guidance to direct reports
• Ensure proper staffing levels and work distribution
• Attend and participate in various meetings to share and obtain information
• Manage job performance and develop performance improvement plans
• Manage the overall operations and environment of the program site
• Follow established policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
• Contribute to the hiring and termination process
• Communicate with persons served, families, and healthcare providers
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of behavior and medical records
• Develop and implement performance improvement systems
• Perform direct care duties as necessary

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a BA in a related field such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology. They should also have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries, and two to three years of experience in the Human Services or related field. Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required, with two to three years of experience in the Human Services or related field. BA in a related field with one year of experience preferred.

Schedule

24-hour/7-day-a-week rotation, with flexibility in work schedules.
