Program Manager, Architecture & Design

About the role

As a Program Manager at Ware Malcomb you will develop program objectives and strategy, assess impacts on the department, business, and organization, and align new programs with the firm’s overall business strategy and goals. The role focuses on high‑level coordination for programs and clients, including Fortune 500 companies, across projects such as high‑tech manufacturing and logistics facilities, automated distribution, retail, robotics, electric vehicles, aviation, and sustainable/green technologies.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities
• Plan and monitor overall program execution
• Coordinate projects and manage project teams
• Create and maintain program budgets
• Manage resources across multiple projects
• Conduct stakeholder communications, negotiations, and problem‑solving
• Communicate job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing contributions
• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans, reviews, and action plans
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing change
• Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or real estate, with a minimum of 5 years in management
• Program Management experience including staffing, planning, people management, performance and profitability oversight, financial planning, process improvement, and strategic planning
• Adept at handling complexity, analyzing information, conflict resolution, and implementing company vision
• Highly analytical and organized
• Excellent team‑building skills
• Strong negotiator and influencer
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture or a related field
