What You'll Do

  • Conduct daily audits of event plans across operations teams, ensuring compliance with established standards, proper setup in tools and systems, and comprehensive inclusion of all stakeholder and external party details.
  • Document areas where plans require additional detail to meet standards or external stakeholder needs, refine plans to ensure they are event-ready, and provide constructive coaching and feedback to teams to drive improvements.
  • Analyze trends in planning gaps (e.g., unforeseen issues during events due to planning oversights) to identify if new standards or processes are needed, and make recommendations to the program manager on gaps in the current process.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of program standards, training materials, and best practices for large-scale events.
  • Prepare regular reports on event quality performance, key insights, and progress against improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the program manager, local operations teams, and other internal stakeholders to foster a culture of excellence in event planning.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Events Management role.
  • A deep understanding of Event Management best practices, particularly for large organizations, with a balance of both customer experience and risk mitigation.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, with a keen eye to identify missed information.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, draw insights from data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and provide constructive feedback.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with a global team.
  • Must be based in California.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, event management / hospitality, or quality preferred.
