We are seeking a Program Manager 2 to support the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Production for the Active RF portfolio. This position is located on-site in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities
- Strategize long-term production planning and improvements
- Deliver cost and schedule goals for respective assembly level of AI&T
- Lead and direct a team of Engineers and SMSs to meet cost and schedule objectives
- Coordinate production staffing needs
- Standardize AI&T training and practices
- Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) on a recurring basis
- Maintain and adhere to executable integrated master schedules (IMS)
- Continuously improve test and assembly processes and procedures
- Expedite solutions to throughput and cost detractors
- Maintain tiered escalation meetings
- Prioritize program-specific SQDCM and PCAB activities
- Interface with NHA operations regarding delivery scheduling
- Coordinate Risk and Opportunity execution for the production program
- Develop and deliver presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders
- Coordinate change control board activities internally and with the customer
- Seek and incorporate input from customers to meet their needs (internally and externally)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience supporting Government contracts as a Program or Project Manager; or 6 years’ experience with a Master’s degree
- Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or cost account manager
- Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience with Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T)
- Ability to apply knowledge, insights, and understanding of business and financial concepts to benefit program decisions and performance
- Ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive approach to issue and problem resolution
- Ability to recognize and respond to customer needs to develop additional sales supporting organizational objectives
- Ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach, identifying risks and opportunities
Pay
Primary salary range: $153,800.00 – $230,800.00. The final offer considers scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
