Program Management Internship
Kids in the Game is a sport and enrichment-based program serving thousands of children annually in New York City. Our mission is to inspire kids to embrace new experiences, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and build integrity through positive experiences and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct regular development calls to identify and cultivate potential leads
- Implement effective strategies for lead generation and follow up with potential clients or partners
- Maintain detailed records of all development activities and track progress against targets
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy adjustments
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business strategies with overall organizational objectives
- Design and administer surveys to assess program effectiveness and gather feedback from participants
- Analyze survey data and generate reports to inform program improvements
- Implement a monitoring and evaluation framework to track the impact of programs and initiatives
- Commit to specific timeframes to be present at program locations, ensuring hands-on involvement in after school programs

- Resourceful and able to work autonomously
- Experience in sports-based youth development

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative intern to support our Program Management team. This in-person position in New York City will involve assisting with communications, working with schools and families, and supporting the overall functioning of our team. Your role will require a passion for working with the youth of NYC and for learning how school and sports programs run internally.
Compensation
Internships are unpaid opportunities for first term interns. Unpaid interns will receive a $200-$300 completion bonus at the end of their term. There are also potential opportunities to extend for a second term, paid internship. We can also offer class credit where applicable.

Schedule
Kids in the Game offers seasonal internships throughout the year. Internships are typically 14-18 weeks long and Interns would be expected to work between 25-35 hours per week in person at our office location. Below are the dates for each season.
- Fall 2026: September 8th - December 18th
- Spring 2027: January 11th - May 21st
- Summer 2027: May 24th - August 27th
