- Assists therapy staff in delivering effective and efficient rehab services.
- Adheres to an established plan of care, department and patient’s schedule, and documents services promptly.
- Provides direct patient care and customer relations to ensure satisfaction and continued referrals.
- Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
- Supports the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services through resource utilization, clinical program promotion, and staff development.
- Coordinates Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within facility or home care contracts.
- Maintains evidence-based care, adherence to care delivery standards, and practice act compliance.
- Oversees clinical management, including case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification.
- Aids in identifying and removing treatment barriers and seeking clinical education support.
- Maintains financial controls of revenue and expenses in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Area Director.
- Aids the Clinical Operations Area Director in meeting annual budget goals.
- Supports clinical orientation and ensures a quality orientation process for new rehab staff.
- Promotes Powerback Rehabilitation products and services.
- Maintains relationships with facility management teams and staff as a representative of Powerback Rehabilitation.
- Ensures clinical management oversight, including case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification.
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
- A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
- Three years direct patient care experience and one year of management experience.
- A thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
