Program Instructor for LIFT [Lifelong Improvement through Fitness Together] (Part-Time Extension Education Support Fitness Class Instructor)
Job Description and Position Requirements
Penn State Extension in Lancaster County seeks to hire a Part-Time Extension Support position to serve as a LIFT (Lifelong Improvements Through Fitness Together) Program Instructor.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Lead participants in a 5-minute exercise warm-up.
- Lead participants in 60-minutes of strength training exercises.
- Lead a 5-minute cool-down.
- Energize and motivate participants throughout the class.
- Instruct short nutrition and health-related lessons provided to the instructor.
- Demonstrate proper form and ensure participants are using correct form, offering corrections if needed.
- Complete evaluations.
