PROGRAM FACILITATOR - PRN

Rate: $18.60 per hour

About the role

The Program Facilitator conducts various programs in a group setting for inmates/residents assigned to residential and non-residential programs. This role is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve within an institutional, secure setting.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess prospective program participants to determine individual and group needs.
• Implement a wide range of programs, planning, conducting, or facilitating workshops and group activities specific to programs.
• Facilitate group discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and use audio/visual aids and other materials to supplement program curriculum.
• Follow standard curriculum for the program and supervise all program activity.
• Create and maintain an environment conducive to learning and personal growth by establishing standards of behavior and participation.
• Encourage inmates/residents to maintain established standards.
• Coordinate admissions, evaluations, program completion, and program termination information with other interested staff and departments.
• Maintain and monitor confidentiality of inmates/residents and administrative files.
• Evaluate the progress of assigned inmates/residents and review status to verify program completion.
