About the role
This position is located at a BAE Systems facility and requires full-time, in-person collaboration. It involves working on advanced electronics for various military applications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and functional staff to develop and deliver products and systems that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate across all disciplines, functions, and business areas to support engineering initiatives.
- Ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and support competitive engineering bids that align with business goals and customer requirements.
- Identify and develop critical technical skills and resources within the organization.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics for engineering activities.
- Advise on the application of process-based methodologies appropriate to the project's scope and complexity.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering processes and skills.
- Represent the technical team to project managers, functions, and executive leadership.
- Communicate technical risks and opportunities among the design team, Chief Engineer, and program management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of technical leadership experience and relevant capabilities.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to form visions and implement action plans.
- Experience in forming and implementing action plans to achieve technical goals.
Skills
- Strong technical leadership and risk management skills.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and delivering technical solutions.

Benefits
Full-time salary range: $132,962 - $226,035.
