For a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Program Director to drive complex transportation-planning programs from inception to delivery, ensuring structure, accountability, and measurable outcomes in a technology-driven environment.
About the role
You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the transportation planning practice in Southern California
- Direct planning initiatives across various transportation sectors
- Identify opportunities and maintain client relationships as a seller-doer
- Manage planning projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Provide strategic advisory services in mobility planning and policy
- Guide the development of transportation plans and multimodal programs
- Lead business case development and grant applications
- Represent the company at professional associations and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field
- 20+ years in transportation planning, program management, or infrastructure consulting
- Experience with multimodal transportation projects including transit and emerging mobility
- Established relationships with Southern California transportation agencies
- Success in business development and proposal pursuits
- Strong project and program management skills
- Ability to mentor and lead teams in a collaborative environment
Location
Remote – US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.
Pay
$157,500 – $283,500 annually
