About the role

Stepful is launching a Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility. Partnering with employers to build RadTech programs; labs and clinicals happen inside partner facilities; role is remote Texas-based with regular travel to partner sites; reports to Imaging Programs Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Program design and curriculum: support development of curriculum to meet accreditor standards; lead development of clinical playbooks for supervision, competency progression, and rotation quality.
  • Outcomes, accreditation, and compliance: own program outcomes (completion/graduation rate, ARRT exam pass rate, job placement rate); track leading indicators; lead accreditation and monitor compliance as primary academic point of contact for ABHES (annual reporting, substantive change filings, site visit readiness).
  • Partnerships and faculty leadership: support conversations with employer partners as a clinical SME; build and lead faculty (hire, onboard, observe, develop didactic faculty, lab instructors, and clinical preceptors).
  • Travel and teaching: travel to partner sites for feasibility assessments, lab observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits (approx. once monthly in 2026, scaling to up to 50% travel starting 2027); option to instruct the first cohort virtually or on the ground.

Requirements

  • Texas-based, with reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel.
  • Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
  • Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
  • Prior Program Director experience of an accredited radiography program.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in radiography.
  • Familiarity with program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including JRCERT and ABHES requirements and process.
  • Strong data and technical literacy, prioritizing leading indicators over retrospective metrics.

Qualifications

  • Experience building or launching a new academic program from the ground up.
  • Direct experience partnering with employer or health‑system stakeholders on workforce pipelines.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MEd, MHA) or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R).
  • Background in a fast‑growing startup or EdTech environment.

Pay

The target base salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 – $125,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
