About the role

The Program Director of Respiratory Therapy oversees all aspects of the respiratory therapy program, including curriculum development, faculty supervision, student recruitment, and accreditation compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement respiratory therapy curricula that meet accreditation standards.
  • Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy faculty members.
  • Recruit and interview prospective students for the respiratory therapy program.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care outcomes.

Requirements

  • M.S. in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Experience with program accreditation processes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to advancing respiratory therapy education.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in respiratory therapy.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
