Job Summary

The MAT Program Director is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, ensuring its efficiency, compliance, and success in serving clients. This role involves managing daily operations, strategic planning for growth, staff onboarding and training, and fostering communication between senior leadership, clinical staff, and community partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for general oversight of program functionality.
  • Provides daily oversight of the state MAT grants.
  • Develops strategies for long range planning to support rapid growth in program.
  • Maintains policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Communicates regularly with other Program Directors to stay informed of concerns, questions, needs, and achievements.
  • Onboards clinical staff in conjunction with Human Resources, by scheduling appropriate trainings and shadowing of other clinicians.
  • Facilitates communication between senior leadership and front line staff by attending leadership meetings and serving as a conduit for important information.
  • Chairs the MAT Leadership Team Meetings and facilitates Focus Groups consisting of clients as well as community stakeholders when needed.
  • Captures and reports grant-related data points.
  • Coordinates project services and activities including data collection, quality improvement, and sustainability efforts.
  • Serves as a link between the program, program partner entities, and the community.
  • Assists with Continuous Quality Assurance and participates in Utilization Management.
  • Works with staff, clients, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful, and effective manner.
  • Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and support Westbrook Health Services’ mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and code of ethical behavior.

Qualification Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail working accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
  • Able to use basic office machines such as computer system with programmed software and fax machine.
  • Able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals in order to convey and receive information effectively.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with staff, clients, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful, and effective manner.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time use a standard computer keyboard.
  • Bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Drive to worksites and trainings, carry supplies from car to presentation site.
  • Carry out tasks requiring standing for extended periods of time.
  • Speak in front of small and large audiences while standing anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours at a time.
