Program Director - Medical Assistant (No Previous Teaching Exp is Required)

About the role

The Program Director – Medical Assisting will lead the planning, development, and daily operations of the Medical Assisting program at Unitek Learning. They will support student success and academic excellence, mentoring faculty, overseeing curriculum quality, managing program resources, and monitoring student and program outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Mentor faculty
• Oversee curriculum quality
• Manage program resources
• Monitor student and program outcomes
• Hold periodic staff meetings
• Maintain copies of minutes of advisory committee and staff meetings
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
• Ensure orientation to Office Staff
• Ensure extramural facilities are visited regularly
• Ensure written contracts/affiliations with extramural facilities
• Maintain and motivate staff and students
• Monitor ongoing quality and performance of the program
• Facilitate Program Advisory Committee Meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant work experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA)
• Able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with a diverse staff and student population
• Able to participate on a high-performing team
• Able to manage and forecast program performance metrics
• Consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Pay

The annual pay range for this position is $80,000/year (minimum) and $87,000/year (maximum).
