Program Director, Alpha - $150,000/year USD
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour live workshops focused on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for elementary and middle school cohorts (K-8), executing Alpha's structured playbook rather than creating custom content
- Conducting motivational sessions leveraging student data and Alpha's reward mechanisms (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal attainment across your cohort
- Developing Guides in maintaining program consistency and standard enforcement, ensuring each coaching interaction yields specific improvement actions
- Sustaining direct leadership of your own student cohort while simultaneously building capacity in other Guides
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators on a weekly basis to identify deterioration early
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Delivering lectures or providing academic tutoring to students
- Creating curriculum or developing original lesson materials
- Developing Guides on pedagogical methods
- Maintaining the standard demonstrates your belief in their capability to achieve it
- Serving as the campus emotional safety net
Basic Requirements
- Available to work on-site at one of these locations: Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or comparable domain
- Demonstrated history of managing a team of 5 or more adults, including responsibility for hiring and performance-related termination decisions
- Hands-on experience working with children ages 5-14 within educational or developmental contexts
- Experience building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, business, educational institution, or initiative from inception
- Documented use of data and performance metrics to establish weekly objectives and inform strategic decisions, beyond simple reporting
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related area
- Experience coaching athletics, leading outdoor or experiential education programs, managing camps, or directing youth ministry at a scale requiring cohort management and outcome measurement
- Transitioned from classroom instruction to program development or operations roles in EdTech, tutoring enterprises, youth-focused nonprofits, or school intervention systems
- Early-career pattern of exceptional individual achievement — scholastic, athletic, or professional — prior to transitioning into leadership positions
- Conviction that the existing education system requires fundamental reform and personal commitment to contributing to that transformation

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
