Responsibilities
- Executes day-to-day operations of the Trauma VRC Program.
- Manages a portfolio of centers/sites as assigned, pertaining to pre and/or post-site visit processes including:
- Validation of information submitted in a pre-review questionnaire.
- Review of assessments for completeness and to confirm that reviewers have followed all guidelines and met expectations.
- Facilitation and tracking of assessments through the entire review process.
- Generating final reports or corrective action reports as necessary.
- Provides timely, accurate and professional customer service for the Trauma VRC Program to customers, hospitals, committee members, and other program constituencies.
- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the Trauma VRC Program to communicate program requirements and assist customers with processes.
- Communicates program announcements and updates by providing content and/or enhancing quality through proofreading and editing.
- Maintains quality of processes and compliance of program standards and ensures adherence to internal policies; escalates non-compliance in a timely fashion.
- Collaborates with the VRC team to monitor processes and identify common issues to recommend areas for improvement.
- Assesses constituent surveys to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with the VRC team to develop and improve workflow processes as needed.
- Supports VRC reviewers, post-site reviewers, committee chairs, and staff leadership.
- Participates in committee meetings and conferences.
- Creates meeting minutes, drafts VRC communications, and provides regular status reports as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a professional office environment, including project coordination, administrative support, and/or customer service is required.
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills are required.
- Ability to consistently produce accurate, thorough, and high-quality work by reviewing documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze information, interpret standards accurately, and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent customer service, project coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience leveraging AI is a plus.
Qualifications
- Non-profit, association, or healthcare experience is a plus.
