Program Consultant - Remote - Nationwide

About the Role
Provide operational project leadership, analytical support, and research services. Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and practice management individuals to co-design innovative programs from concept to delivery, and analyze their impact and success. Serve as a subject matter expert in practice line operations and process improvement to identify gaps and implement best practices.
- Develop supporting materials (e.g., manuals, training modules, curriculum) to support programs, pilot and evaluate their impact, and create detail-oriented work plans.
- Lead overall project management and program support (e.g., project workplans, meeting support, timelines, communications) for quality and performance initiatives.
- Manage medium to large-scale projects with internal and external dependencies, defining scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, budget, and tools.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution, utilizing formal processes to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
- Provide leadership and oversight for existing programs such as Quality and Process Improvement, and lead new site start-up processes.
- Develop and implement processes and programs in response to leadership requests, and provide ad hoc project management for organizational initiatives.
- Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insights and support analytics for operational, quality, and financial performance.
- Conduct pre- and post-performance analysis to enhance risk mitigation, measure processes against policies, and provide management summaries with recommendations.
- Identify and escalate issues and opportunities for data, quality, and process improvements, and facilitate operational stability and workflow enhancements.
- Maintain and distribute project reporting, define business requirements to increase operational efficiency, and monitor outcome measures.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement action plans.
- Analyze results against plans, forecast opportunities for improvement, and recommend interventions.
- Represent the organization in Health System collaborations and cross-functional initiatives, working with clinical and business stakeholders.
- Provide consulting and advisory services to clients and physician leaders, including Regional Directors and Medical Directors.
- Work independently with frequent communication to regional, practice line, and client leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within a healthcare setting.
- 3 years of experience in data and analytics, including developing reports, leading clinical-related quality programs, and continuous improvement planning.
- Master’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel - intermediate-advanced, PowerPoint, Access).
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) to develop reports, dashboards, and calculators.
- Data analysis and interpretation skills, including financial statements and statistical reports, with the ability to convey insights.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management concepts and strong project management, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with polished public speaking abilities for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work with cross-functional leaders to develop and implement change management strategies.
- Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of hospital and outpatient clinic operations, with subject matter expertise in process improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment, escalating issues as needed.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $95,590 - $121,875, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, based on company performance.
