Program Associate
Location: Mt Laurel, NJ • Non-exempt, full-time, in-person role in the Children’s Residential department
About the role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) within Bancroft’s Pediatric and Adolescent Residential Program, you’ll support children with autism and disabilities and empower them to realize their best life. Join a care team that cares about you.
Bancroft is hiring throughout Burlington and Camden County, including Mount Laurel, Cherry Hill, and Voorhees, NJ. Various schedules and shifts are available, including full-time, 2nd shift, and overnights, which require one weekend day.
Responsibilities
- Empower children to develop skills for daily life
- Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
- Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
- Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable
- Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well in teams and openness to learning new skills
- Willingness and ability to work weekends
- Current driver’s license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Pay
Hourly rate: $19.19–$19.58 plus additional incentive
Schedule
Sample shifts available:
- Wednesday 1 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Thursday 12 p.m.–9 p.m.
- Friday 1 p.m.–9 p.m.
- Saturday 7 a.m.–9 p.m.
