About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) within Bancroft’s Pediatric and Adolescent Residential Program, you’ll support children with autism and disabilities and empower them to realize their best life. Join a care team that cares about you and make a real impact in the lives of children and teens.
Responsibilities
- Empower children to develop skills for daily life
- Encourage their independence through personalized plans of care
- Plan events and outings to build the Bancroft community
- Belong to a supportive team that holds one another accountable
- Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
- Ability and willingness to work weekends
- Current driver's license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Schedule
Various schedules and shifts are currently available, including full-time, 2nd shift, and overnights which require one of the weekend days. Specific openings include:
- Sun 7a-9p
- Mon 1p-9p
- Tues 1p-10p
- Thur 12p-9p
Pay
Hourly rate: $19.19-$19.58 plus additional incentive.
