Primary Duties

  • Maintain parent and childcare provider data
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Provide customer service assistance

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of previous experience in office administration or related fields
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs and data entry experience
  • Competency with written and spoken English
  • Basic math competency
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment

Additional Requirements

  • Enter and update family data in the agency database
  • Review client eligibility
  • Assist with phone coverage and walk-ins
  • Print, log, and respond to child care requests within the required contractual timelines
  • Assist Specialists during enrollments and assessments
  • Assist Specialists with referrals by assessing and compiling client information in files
  • Attend outside meetings that educate clients on Pathway’s services
  • Participate responsibly in department and Agency staff meetings

Compensation Package

  • 10 sick days per year
  • 10 vacation days per year for the first 2 years of service
