Essential Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation, conduct, and supervision of community center programs focusing on children and adults.
- Support the development of relationships between parents and children participating in these programs.
- Enforce facility safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Maintain order within the Community Center by enforcing rules regarding behavior and equipment usage.
- Assist in opening and closing the community center as needed.
- Ensure the safekeeping of all equipment and supplies, including tables, chairs, washers, dryers, etc.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks when the facility is used for programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Preferred experience in leading social service programs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
Certificates And Licenses
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Blood Pathogen.
- Complete Safe From Harm training and keep current as needed.
