Program Analyst

About the role

Bowhead Program Management & Operations seeks a Program Analyst to work as a member of a team, providing program management, analytical, financial & technical reporting in support of NSWCCD in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities

• Supporting meetings, developing meeting minutes, and providing documentation based on client inputs
• Preparing and/or updating complex schedules
• Preparing and/or reviewing briefing charts, and updating data on client SharePoint sites
• Providing in depth analytical, administrative and program management support
• Researching and investigating the need for, and impact of, changes in project scope; develop and implement changes as needed
• Following reporting systems including systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and system evaluation methodology
• Developing and maintaining program documentation and technical reports, conduct assessments and communicates results
• Contributing to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions
• Monitoring program progress and customer satisfaction; provide periodic status reports as needed
• Facilitating efficient communication and program support between the client and external agencies
• Preparing program correspondence as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Six plus (6+) years of experience conducting studies and preparing reports on feasibility and cost effectiveness
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Professional experience with Stiletto Maritime Platform
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level
• US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location

Pay

Target salary is $105,000/annually to $115,000/annually commensurate with experience.

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
