Program Analyst

About the role

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring an active U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) "L" or "Q" security clearance. The Program Analyst serves as a critical support resource for the Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Acquisition Integration Planning Team (AIPT) within the Department of Energy Savannah River Operations Office (DOE-SR) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. This role is deeply engaged in the daily functions and priorities of the AIPT, providing administrative and programmatic support essential to successful team operations. Given the nature of the work, the position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and organizational trust.

Education

• High School Diploma required
• College degree and/or college courses related to business administration, technical writing, etc. preferred

Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Program Analyst and/or as an Office Administrator III desired
• Equivalent external experience will be considered

Requirements

• Current driver's license
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance enabling access to various government facilities

• Excellent command of the English language; effective oral and written communicator
• Ability to write and review lengthy reports, procurement related documents, correspondence, etc. (prior technical writing support desired)

• Flexibility and conflict resolution skills that produce optimized solutions
• Expert in the use of office equipment, including computers, scanners, fax, and copiers
• Expert in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer, and Adobe Reader
