In this role, the PA provides technical and operational coordination, training, and support to a military headquarters entity, assisting Joint Service as needed. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and preparing information briefs and point papers on policies, procedures, and operations, as well as reviewing military headquarters plans for compliance with DoD directives. Additionally, the PA offers administrative support to RMC Corporate Headquarters and gains expertise in various specialty areas, including Law Enforcement, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosive protection, Antiterrorism, Physical Security, Information Sharing, Emergency Management, Supporting Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Communications. Essential Functions Planning, Coordinating, and Executing Assessments: Support military customer in the coordination, preparation, research and execution of assessments, events, activities to support Joint Staff, Navy, and Marine Corps Mission Assurance and its related programs and processesAssist with event planning, meetings, and conferences, including maintaining a master event calendar or spreadsheet, collecting RSVPs, and coordinating with external stakeholders Provide logistical and administrative support to RMC personnel for domestic and international travel as needed Schedule meetings with military installations DOD Product Development And Mission Assurance Support Support military customer in the preparation and review of graphical, oral, written reports, briefs, and products for multiple programs encompassed within the Mission Assurance umbrella Assist in the development and review of DoD reports and information papers, white papers, and position papersAssist in the coordination of staffing and research for DoD initiatives Draft briefs for internal and external use on various protection related topics Edit, proofread, and fact-check various documents and reports Participate in conferences, meetings, and other events, as neededSit-in on working groups to develop program awareness and subject matter expertise RMC Office Administrative Duties Process RMC mail, maintaining and disseminating confidential information to the appropriate partiesWork with PA Team to maintain a stock of shirts on hand for assessments and company eventsAssist RMC personnel with office access when needed Assist with support and administrative tasks for end of year company meetingAssist in various administrative duties, as needed RMC Functional and Business Area Support Support RMC functional and business areas when needed (PMO, Energy Resilience, AHTA, Cyber, etc.)Maintain and work with RMC and government personnel to meet contractual requirementsResearch, evaluate solutions, make recommendations, and present on various topics to RMC and government/military personnelAssist in drafting, editing, proofreading, and guiding policy through a review process Security Coordination Assist RMC personnel in Common Access Card (CAC) processing Assist RMC personnel gain access to NIPR and SIPR accountsServe as a member of the Security Coordination TeamEscorting RMC personnel onsite at PentagonAccess Defense Information Security System (DISS) and coordinate DISS data and/or security clearances as necessary for job requirements. Ensure the information in DISS is secured at the highest level. Keep DISS information confidential per the RMC Employee Non-Disclosure Agreement Competencies Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Develops clear and concise plans for completing projects and achieving objectives, utilizing superb research, analytical, writing, and editing skills Ability to draft and send professionally polished emails that convey key actions, needs, and recommendations Customer service-oriented and experienced in providing support to client personnel while working collaboratively and constructively with team members Able to identify issues for management, perform needs-gap analysis, collect data to support conclusions Strong work ethic and independence; effectively applies technical knowledge to solve problems Can identify, test, and utilize new tools to enhance organization, communication, and products Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc) Requirements Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 1 year of work experience to include work-study, internships, or a combination thereofMilitary service is a plus but not a requirement Other Requirements Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job.Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.Hybrid Role: This hybrid role requires three-five day/week onsite work at Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Ability to maintain and access NIPR/SIPR accounts by monthly travel to employees designated regional site.
