Program Aide - KidsHaven

About the role

KidsPeace is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Program Aide for an immediate opening within their KidsHaven program. Located in Bethlehem, PA, this program supports unaccompanied migrant children through reunification and acclimation.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate supervision and guidance to children and adolescents.
• Maintain a strong commitment to the safety of youth, remaining attentive and responsive to all ongoing concerns and developments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of paid experience working with children.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency—reading, writing, and speaking.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Requirements

• Must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and Child Abuse History Clearance (processed by KidsPeace).
• Must pass a physical and drug screening (covered by KidsPeace).
• Must complete all KidsPeace-sponsored training.
• Candidates must successfully pass the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) required suitability background check.

$18.00 – Flat Rate

Schedule

Full-time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. No weekends.
