About the Organization

Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) is a well-established Manhattan community-based organization that supports services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. About the Program

Beacon Community Centers are located in public schools throughout New York City and serve youth from kindergarten through age 21 and adults ages 22 and older, including Older Adults. Beacons operate year-round during non-school hours, weekdays, evenings, weekends, and in the summer as a resource to the entire community by offering integrated programming tailored to local needs. During the summer, Beacons collaborate with the New York City Public Schools for the Summer Rising initiative.

About the Role

Program Aides work with the Office Manager, Coordinators, and Director to ensure the office is managed smoothly. Responsibilities include data entry, record-keeping, correspondence, escorting, monitoring, and supporting Youth Groups.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, September 1, 2026, through June 18, 2027. Hours are between 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM or some evenings 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, up to 20 hours per week.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $19.00/hr
