Program Accounting Associate Analyst
About the role
This position supports government program operations through various accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare internal and external reports ensuring the accuracy of financial records
- Analyze balance sheets and general ledger accounts
- Prepare daily account funds, transfers, and disbursements
- Select appropriate methods from a variety of procedures and make simple adaptations
- Escalate recognized issues
Requirements
- 0 or more years of work experience in Accounting, Financial Review, Data, or Analysis
- US Citizenship
- Full-time office work
- Highschool Diploma/GED minimum education
- Experience with MS Office
Qualifications
- Sage Accounting Software
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Experience with loan documentation or securities
- Eager to apply strong organizational and communication skills in a professional office setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and quality control skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work in a collaborative environment
- Tech proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with office unit terminology
