Program Accounting Associate Analyst

About the role

This position supports government program operations through various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare internal and external reports ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  • Analyze balance sheets and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare daily account funds, transfers, and disbursements
  • Select appropriate methods from a variety of procedures and make simple adaptations
  • Escalate recognized issues

Requirements

  • 0 or more years of work experience in Accounting, Financial Review, Data, or Analysis
  • US Citizenship
  • Full-time office work
  • Highschool Diploma/GED minimum education
  • Experience with MS Office

Qualifications

  • Sage Accounting Software
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Experience with loan documentation or securities
  • Eager to apply strong organizational and communication skills in a professional office setting
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and quality control skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Tech proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with office unit terminology
