Profitability & Costing Senior Consultant

Work you'll do
- Assess client costing and profitability processes to identify business challenges and develop solutions aligned to finance transformation objectives.
- Analyze and visualize structured and unstructured data to deliver actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to drive delivery transformation.
- Model and optimize financial performance using SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM), and advanced costing methodologies.
- Develop business requirements, prototypes, and solution designs leveraging automation and artificial intelligence-enabled technologies.
- Manage client engagement activities, workstream deliverables, and collaboration across finance, business, and technology stakeholders.

Within the Finance Transformation offering, the Business Finance team drives strategic value through financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities by leveraging next-gen processes, scalable data platforms, and AI to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of experience in finance transformation, profitability reporting, costing, and allocations.
- 3+ years of experience building cost or profitability models using specialized costing or profitability solutions.
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or both.
- 2+ years of experience extracting and transforming data and producing descriptive analytics.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with data transformation, reporting architecture, or finance data management.
- Experience supporting finance operating model, shared services, or global business services transformation initiatives.
- Experience with structured testing, user acceptance testing, or deployment support for finance technology implementations.
- Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Pay
The wage range for this role takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 - $218,600. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where an award depends on individual and organizational performance.
