About the role

The Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a tenured Full Professor position beginning in Fall 2027, with the possibility of an endowed, named chair, for a scholar whose research program will advance the mission of the university's Poverty Initiative.

Qualifications

• Record of research excellence with a strong emphasis on issues related to poverty
• Proven capacity for leadership
• Evidence of superlative teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Capacity to support and shape exciting new university programs
• PhD in Economics or a closely related field required
