Professor and Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Affairs

About the role

Candidates will be expected to conduct research and teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The candidates should have expertise in at least one of the iSchool’s concentrations in our new undergraduate informatics degree program which has allowed us to engage in a significant expansion of our faculty in the coming years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and publish in high-impact venues
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in informatics
• Engage in service activities within the iSchool and the broader academic community

Requirements

• PhD in Information Science or a related field
• Strong record of research and publication
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Expertise in at least one of the iSchool’s concentrations in our new undergraduate informatics degree program
• Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of the new undergraduate informatics degree program
