Professional Voice Actor - Italian

We're looking for experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record expressive, professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping the next generation of AI systems sound genuinely human. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, a quiet space, and a passion for authentic performance.

Responsibilities

• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback to improve the quality of synthesized voice outputs
• Review scripts and recommend adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Requirements

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or related performance audio work
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural, idiomatic speech
• Equipped with a large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
• Attuned to nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, pacing, and pronunciation
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Skills

• Experience with studio recording, broadcast, or professional voice-over production
• Familiarity with regional Italian dialects or accent variations
• Background in linguistics, theatre, radio, or audiovisual performance
• Prior experience evaluating audio quality or providing production feedback
