Professional Voice Actor - German

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced German-speaking voice actors to record and evaluate high-quality audio that trains the next generation of AI speech systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding vocal presence, native-level German fluency, and access to quality recording equipment.

What You'll Do

• Record professional-grade German voice audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
• Deliver clear, actionable feedback to help refine and improve synthesized German voice outputs
• Review scripts and suggest adjustments to improve clarity and ensure natural, native-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in German with a strong command of natural spoken expression
• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or related performance-based audio work
• Equipped with a large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances across different styles and tones
• Attentive to nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, clarity, rhythm, and pronunciation

Nice to Have

• Experience evaluating or directing voice performances
• Familiarity with audio production software or DAWs
• Knowledge of regional German accent variations — Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise
• Background in broadcasting, theatre, film, or commercial voice work
