Professional Tree Climber - Arborist

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal and health of trees and shrubs in various landscapes. This includes pruning, planting, and providing expert advice on tree care.

Responsibilities

• Prune trees and shrubs to maintain proper growth and shape.
• Plant new trees and shrubs in appropriate locations.
• Provide clients with expert advice on tree care and maintenance.
• Inspect trees for signs of disease or damage and take corrective action as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, horticulture, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in tree care and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and care practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.

Skills

• Proficient in using pruning tools and equipment.
• Experience with arboricultural software and GPS mapping systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
