Professional Transportation Engineer
The Impact You'll Have
As a Professional Transportation Engineer for Alliant, you will play a lead role in the design of major Transportation projects. Utilize your technical expertise to design roadway geometry, compute design calculations, and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Apply your management skills to lead a team of graduate engineers and technicians to deliver projects. Other activities will include resolving design issues with proactive and innovative solutions, checking design work per Alliant's Design Quality Management Plan, and engaging in professional development activities to grow your client network. You will also assist with the preparation of work scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 4+ years of highway design experience
- Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Technical expertise using Microstation and GEOPAK on transportation projects

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
