About the role
Leverage Big Data, AppDev, or DevOps experience and apply it to state-of-the-art technologies in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Build software solutions. Work closely with teams of Data Scientists and Data Engineers. Collaborate with our Data Scientists to deliver ground-breaking solutions for customers. Expose to modern Machine Learning best practices and delivering AWS solutions in this high-demand field. Utilize familiarity with cloud solutions and DevOps. Work with a team of data scientists to build end to end solutions. Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance ML / AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build software solutions and work closely with teams of Data Scientists and Data Engineers
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to deliver ground-breaking solutions for customers
- Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance ML / AI solutions
- Support efforts in the Enterprise, IoT, and start-up communities
- Domestic or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- 3 years of experience with ML algorithms, training models, hyperparameter tuning, distributed model training, hosting and deployment of models, ML pipelines (able to whiteboard common components of ML pipelines)
- 3 years of Data Visualization experience: Python/R frameworks such as matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, ggplot2; JavaScript frameworks such as D3
- 3 years of experience with Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch/MXNet)
- 3 years of Machine Learning experience: supervised learning (regression), supervised learning (classification)
Skills
- Machine Learning Experience: ML frameworks, ML algorithms (understanding of classification, regression, clustering, embedding, NLP, and computer vision)
- Software Development Experience: scripting languages (Python, R), database languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PG-PLSQL), version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, AWS Code Commit, data structures, algorithms)
- Architecture experience: data pipelines, distributed computing engines
Pay
Salary range: $169,000/year to $228,600/year in New York, New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
Schedule
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm
