What You'll Be Doing

Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics or aircraft Icing. Understand and frame the results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft. Prepare test plans. Document analysis, ground and flight test results. Write and update Engineering practice documents.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering (including courses or projects in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing and/or CFD analyses).
• Having a Master is an asset.
• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the thermodynamics and icing engineering field.
• You are self-motivated and innovative.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel).
• You have knowledge of Siemens Flomaster or Star CCM+.
• You are familiar with programming (Unix Operating System and with programming languages such as Fortran77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C# & Python).
• You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.
• You are willing to travel for short term assignments.
