About the Marigold Collective

The Marigold Collective is a group of farmers, families, small business owners, & government officials who work together to connect the Winterville and East Athens communities with fresh, affordable food, information on nutrition, support for local food producers and an opportunity to distribute food abundance to our community.

Role & Responsibilities

• Recipe Assembly: Measure and mix ingredients, and prepare basic sauces, dressings, and condiments according to exact recipes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep all kitchen tools (knives, cutting boards, utensils) clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
• Sanitation & Compliance: Adhere to all health code regulations, safe food handling guidelines, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, loud, and high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy.
• Previous food handling experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and be on feet for extended periods
• Strong listening skills and the ability to take direction
