Professional Pet Groomer (W2 with Benefits) with Bonus 1k-3k

About the role

Designer Paws Salon is one of Ohio's premier, award-winning grooming salons. We are known for our competitive-level talent, supportive team culture, and commitment to the craft. That's why we provide a modern, clean environment equipped with a dedicated support staff (including front desk receptionists and professional bathers) so you can focus entirely on what you do best: styling beautiful pets!

Responsibilities

• Dog grooming in patterns and freestyle using hand scissoring skills
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation

Requirements

• Ideally 2+ years of professional grooming experience (though we are happy to coach talented groomers with slightly less experience!)
• Strong hand-scissoring skills and a passion for styling
• A professional, upbeat, and team-oriented attitude
• We maintain a healthy, smoke-free, and vape-free work environment
• Comfortably styling dogs of all sizes, including large and giant breeds
• Must be able to work Saturdays (our busiest, most lucrative day!)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• It's a plus if you can groom cats
• It's a plus if you can Hand Strip
• We support you to learn new skills
• We have supporting staff with Front staff, Cleaner, Bathers

Compensation

• Commission + Tips (W2 position)
• Our groomers typically earn between $60,000 and $100,000+ per year ($1,500 – $2,500+ weekly)
• We pay half your employment taxes so you aren't hit with heavy 1099 tax bills!
• 1k Bonus for Cat Groomer
• 1K Bonus for Hand Stripper
• 1k Bonus for Master Groomer
• Bonus can be stacked!
