About the role

As a Pet Groomer, you will practice high-quality grooming services at our facility, delivering care that aligns with our comprehensive small animal medicine approach. Our wide range of services includes proactive Wellness and Prevention protocols, robust Testing and Diagnostics, Advanced Care procedures, Surgical Procedures, and Urgent Care. You’ll have the opportunity to manage complex grooming needs while building meaningful relationships with clients and neighbors we’ve served faithfully for nearly two decades.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality grooming services for all breeds of dogs and cats, utilizing skills in scissoring, clipping, and finishing.
• Use your calming presence and expert handling skills to comfort nervous pets, ensuring a low-stress and positive experience.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and build a loyal clientele as the face of our grooming services.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in your workstation, ensuring a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a professional pet groomer.
• Passion for creating a positive, low-stress experience for every pet.
• Excellent skills in all aspects of grooming for dogs and cats, including nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expression.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Physical ability to handle pets up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50+ pounds) as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Schedule

Full days Monday through Friday, with a half-day shift on Saturdays to ensure comprehensive community coverage.
